In any autonomous vehicle, recovery of the system is very important for safety of the vehicle and also for the post recovery analysis. Without proper recovery, it is impossible to know the reasons for failure. Only when the reason is known, further rectification and improvement can be done, so that in future such faults do not occur. It is also equally important to know very clearly the time of fault occurrence.
Recovery and Timer control module is one such device, which will be monitoring the status of complete vehicle in real time. In case of any emergency, logics inside the RTCM takes own decision and appropriate action in real time. Subsequently it informs the status to PMCM and to core system. This is also a second level of emergency controller to the main system. Timer module inside this device will be generating various timing pulses to the logics for controlling mission sequence and for taking appropriate decisions in case of emergencies at different levels.
